Sandy Kessler, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away Tuesday, July 21, after a very brief battle with cancer.
Sandy was aware of her situation in recent days, and asked us to give her love to the many friends and family she was unable to reach out to herself. She was heartbroken that she would not be able to spend the time she had planned on spending with the family and friends who meant so much to her, and she wanted everyone to know how much she cared for them.
Sandy would have loved the support everyone showed for her at the August 22 Celebration of Life in her honor. Below is the collection of pictures that was showing there, from family photos and many sent by friends. If you'd like to add pictures of your own, send them to David at dbkes11@gmail.com and we'll update the show on this page at www.sandykessler.life (and feel free to copy or print any you like).

Many of you often spent time with Sandy at the Richmond Club of the Deaf or grew up with her at the Virginia School for the Deaf and Blind, and she asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to those groups. You can donate in memory of Sandy Kessler to the Richmond Club of the Deaf, PO Box 772, Mechanicsville, VA 23111 or the VSDB Alumni Association (vsdaa.org or $vsdaa10 on cash app).
